I realize I'm new here, but I just had to ask why in the manual the ship class/size has "corvettes" to be a larger class of ships than frigates and destroyers. Using real-life naval examples, aren't "corvettes" not more than a heavily armed cutter (as in coast guard)? I'm no naval historian, but my understanding is that ships are classified in the following manner from small to large: cutters corvettes frigrates destroyers escort carriers cruisers battleships carriers (really big battleships Each of the above are then subtyped into light, standard, and heavy. And then there are the transports and assault landing ships (as in LSTs). Just curious (inquiring minds wants to know ;D )

I'm not a naval historian either ;D
The game's Ship sizes have no relation to any other size system. I just use the names.
